Larry holds a Bachelors Degree (BA) from the University of Iowa. In recovery himself Larry reached his sobriety date on April 6th 1994. With almost 30 years of sobriety Larry understands the important first steps of sobriety and his title comes with his direct passion for Ancient Greek History, Art & Medicine. Larry’s lifetime career as an International Diplomatic Officer for the US Department of State allowed him to travel to over 30 countries and learn a variety of cultures. His passion for Greece grew over time and the historical knowledge is beneficial to your recovery.
Mykonos’s nickname is “The Island of the Winds” In Greek mythology, Mykonos was named after its first ruler, Mykonos (Μύκονος), the son of the god Apollo . The island is also said to have been the location of the great battle between Zeus and Mythological Giants. After this battle the history states that Hercules was killed after being lured away from the protection of Mount Olympus.
